My blockmates were more intriguing than I ever expected...
Today, I woke up at 8:30 AM. With the notion that my first classes are still at 9:40 AM, I took my time...
It was already 9:15 when we arrived at our car. Swiftly, we drove to UN Avenue station. 9:30 (our car clock, 30 minutes fast, was already 10:00). Now how would I avoid tardiness? A horrible reality struck me. I remembered that our Taekwondo class starts at 9:30 AM, not 9:40. Uh oh...
I rushed inside the tram, zoomed to Quirino Station, ran to Andrew Hall, and ascended to the 8th floor. I was late. Nooo...
Anyway, I caught up. We reviewed the Foundation Form 1, as it was called. We also learned how to do "Roundhouse" kicks, and we also did consecutive kicks. Before that, though, we had to do some stretching exercises, push-ups, sit-ups, and other "tedious" work. Ha ha! It's a funny scene seeing my blockmates groan in anguish after the warm-up exercises.
After PE classes, I asked Dianne where she would have lunch. She'll return home...
Well then, I decided to go back to our store, until Bea asked me...
Well, our group of 8 (or 9) people ate lunch at La Casita (Andrew, again?!). This time, I ordered calamares (fried squid). Two of my blockmates ordered an unusual-sounding food called as Arroz ala Cubana, which is minced meat with banana and egg and vegetables. Another ordered boneless chicken, two ordered spaghetti, and the other ordered speribs. I then made some great discoveries:
- What did that yellow cake taste like? Polvoron with chocolate with caramel with icing with bubble gum flavor... Gross...
- There were more Chinese, most of them anime lovers, in my block than I ever imagined.
- There were many Naruto-fans in our block.
- Lou, which looked a lot like Stephanie, also liked CSI! I can't believe it. At first I thought that she was just similar to DK and Nikko and Shirlina and blablabla, anime fanatics...
- I learned a japanese word, or rather, sentence. Here goes: (Readers,) watashiwa anatao aishiteru!
It was still early, but we decided to return to our classroom. On the way, we were discussing about the song Scarlet - its melody and its lyrics...
Classes were still far from starting; it was only 1 o'clock. With nothing to do, I scribbled some Chinese characters on the blackboard...
"Na mimiss mo na ang Chinese classes?" a friend of mine asked.
"La lang..."
Unexpectedly, classes begun. Foreign language classes. Brought to you by the one and only 林老師...
There was one teaching Japanese, one teaching Korean, one teaching Cantonese, and so on and so forth...
Anyway, we had our ALGTRIG classes, then INTRICT. Afterwards we had a "short" meeting with our groupmates for our SCIENVB project.
I'm ending my short post now...
