Melodies of Life: The Layers of Harmony

Alone for a while I've been searching through the dark, for traces of the love you left inside my lonely heart. To weave by picking up the pieces that remain, melodies of life-love's lost refrain.

Party Poopers

Party Poopers

I woke up from a bad night's sleep - coughing plagued me the whole evening yesterday. I was fortunate enough to have been able to sleep after trying to do sa for 2 hours. (It was two o'clock in the morning that time.) Currently, it was noontime. Alright, time to start things off.

The first thing I did, was to check my e-mail. Afterwards, I deleted my double-entry "Doppelganger." I chatted with some of my friends. I was surprised to hear Joanie say that I have no background music on my blog. Well, for dial-up users, a file larger than 1MB is pretty huge, but for a broadband user, um...

I was surprised to see my belowed mp3 making program bundled with an mp4 encoder. I tried it out. From a size of 1.7MB, the file size shrunk to 400+kb. Whoa! I tried to upload it to the internet via Yahoo! Geocities, unfortunately...

I tried to convert it to mp3 Pro instead, and yes, the file size also shrunk, but not like that of mp4. So, readers, if you would be reading long articles of mine, there would surely be a music playing in the background. (.midi files load a lot faster, unfortunately I prefer mp3s)

I went to GUM & MUG. I gave Joanie Rochelle's picture and she gave me her's to give to Rochelle. She uploaded to my PC her DeathNote mangas (comics); I transferred them to my iPod Shuffle.

Not long after, Rominick and Timtim entered our store. I was uploading the songs in the CD I bought yesterday in PhilamLife (To learn more about what happened yesterday, read my post "Doppelganger.") to Joanie's 512MB USB (Universal Serial Bus) flash disk. We talked about our experiences in La Salle. They were from CWTS, a type of NSTP in La Salle. (Don't ask me what those mean, ask others...) Luckily, we will start having our NSTP next semester. Ha ha!

I asked them if they have to go to a convocation party later like us; they said theirs is on next Wednesday. I asked them their PEs, Timtim's is judo, and Rominick's is table tennis. Timtim says his coach slams him to the floor all the time. My, it's a wonder how you were able to endure his class.

Not long after I left and went to La Salle for the convocation party. We were grouped accordingly into 20 circles. I was in group 11; Rochelle was in group 14. Before the program started, I looked around, and I saw familiar people: there's Ed, my groupmate at DLSU CCS Summer Camp 2005, Andrew Jason, my former classmate, Kuya Allen, the person who calls me Luigi (and Nikko, Mario) because both of us were always playing Mario Party Advance when we attended the summer camp, and many more.

Don't ask me the details of the program. All I could say is that we had a lot of games, great food, and some "bonding," as people would call it. I left (because I was to go home with Rochelle) before the program ended.

Her dad brought me home. On the way, we were talking about our teachers, homeworks, and the like. I learned that her PE was badminton, and I could say that she really hated it, perhaps because they had a lot of homework. I also remembered to give her Joanie's picture, despite my bad memory. Soon after, I was in our house. (I remembered to thank her and her dad for driving me home, of course.)

With cough bothering me for the whole day now, I am writing to you what happened this day. What really struck me was the email I received from someone with a link to this site: http://parentswish.com/
