Doppelganger
Doppelganger
I woke up late again, as usual, because we only have a one-hour class on Fridays. I checked my mail, at last, our professor replied. (Two days ago, I asked for the algorithm on how to compute for square roots in programming.)
It was one o'clock. I ate breakfast. I returned to my room afterwards and pondered on the wonderful dream I had yesterday. (Rarely do you remember in detail what happened in a dream.) I decided to write a blog about it. If you're interested, visit my other blog found at http://splgum.blogs.friendster.com/melodies_of_life/. Look for the article "Magical Thoughts."
After 15 minutes, I ate lunch. Not long after, I went to GUM & MUG and waited for my mom to accompany me to the LRT station. I was almost late when she arrived. I was so furious...
I had a test in INTRICT. If I were to be late, I would immediately get a 0% in my quiz...
I arrived at La Salle 5 minutes early. I quickly reviewed my notes. Timeline. I hate dates.
Our test was quite easy (and at the same time, difficult). Don't ask for the details, I want to get the results first. After the test, we discussed input devices. From pointing devices to webcams to scanners and such.
We were dismissed. On my way to the LRT station to Bambang, I passed by Eunice, Jacqueline, Minette, and Richard. I took the time and said hello. They greeted me back.
In La Salle, you get to experience great reunions...
Embouteillage (traffic) greeted us on our way to National Book Store Avenida, leaving me and Neneth (our maid) to walk to that area, amidst the roaring typhoon (I'm exaggerating.) We were to exchange a book for other supplies which I need in college. I bought three Cattleya spiral notebooks, a Cattleya graphing notebook, 10 bundles of Cattleya Yellow Pad which has 20 sheets each. (By now you can say that I like Cattleya school supplies this much.) I also bought ten long envelopes, one green plastic envelope, a Pilot Rocky 0.5 shaker mechanical pencil (I love this, you shake the pen and pencil lead comes out. I first saw one from Stacey.), and a mechanical pencil refill.
We went home. Initially, I have flute lessons, but since my teacher's schedule was full today, our session was cancelled (after all, it's pay per session). I organized my music collection and uploaded it to my nifty little iPod Shuffle (which I intended to use for data transfer only).
We fetched Joanie.
On our way to PhilamLife, music filled our car as my JBL OnTour Speakers serenaded the area. Joanie suddenly had a liking to the song Thoughts of Eternity (Lucia's Theme). She told me to burn her a copy of the song just now...
We bought a CD of what's to be expected today. I promised to burn her a copy (for it was expensive). We bought another one for my grandmother. She was awestruck when Willord Cai invaded the stage. We broke into laughter (even though we thought it was impolite to do so) when a kid sang out...
"Lunly..."
(It's supposed to be "lonely.")
As the show was preparing itself for the grand finale...
"Tignan mo, si may mukhang Mafia doon!"
"Saan?"
"Dun o!"
"A, yun? Kamukha ni Ahia Andrew!"
"Ha ha! Oo nga! Hahaha! Mukhang Ahia Andrew na 40 years old!"
"Susulat ako ng blog mamaya tungkol dito."
"Di ba siya magagalit?"
"Bat naman? Picturan mo!"
"Pwede ba magpicture dito?"
"Bat naman bawal?"
"Teka, adjust ko yung volume..."
"By the way, may zoom function ba camera mo?"
Checks her cell phone...
"Wala e..."
Unfortunately, in the end, we were not able to take "Ahia Andrew"'s picture. And so we went home...
