Melodies of Life: The Layers of Harmony

Alone for a while I've been searching through the dark, for traces of the love you left inside my lonely heart. To weave by picking up the pieces that remain, melodies of life-love's lost refrain.

In your dreams, magical thoughts... All things are real unless you dream they're not. In your dreams, love is the plot carried on wings of hope. Each of our souls intertwine when we do. Instantly we see it; the time to grow and be it, when everything is pinned on a hope. Let rise the dreams of your heart, that innocent youth, careless and kind. Free to roam the breeze in love, only when two brilliantly shine as one...

Oftentimes, destiny calls people to cross paths without them wanting to. Unfortunately, not all of these intersected paths bestow good memories...

Ever since Marcos was ousted, the Philippines had gained democracy. Since that time, no one had the right to monopolize or dictate others.

Presently, we live in a democratic country. A person has absolutely no right to stage martial law especially when he/she is not even the president of the country.

Darkhitsugaya quoted in his blog, "My head was throbbing with pain and anger when I found out that my stealth settings was breached. Nagaya nanaman ako. Curses and damnations!!! My so-called blog revamp was copied. Sh*t! Invisible na nga ako nagaya pa ako! Pati tagboard ginaya saka blog directory! Oh please, I WANT MY COLLEGE LIFE TO BEGIN. THIS HORRIBLE PAST IS STILL HAUNTING ME.I had a trauma for copycats. It costed me my reputation in high school. I was SO stupid that I haven't realized that someone was already copying almost all the things I did. My handwriting, my blog, my birthday party ariticle (gaya-gaya), my tennis, and now... (Oops, almost told about my new schedule.) I was shocked to hear that DK said that I was more of a copycat than him. My god! Saan galing iyang info na iyan??? Piano? I didn't copy it, how dare he!"

It is very childish in the sense to assume that I was copying his every action. (Yes, he was talking about me.) That means, if a person does anything darkhitsugaya does, darkhitsugaya will actually accuse him or her of plagarism. Nonsense! So, if a person writes a blog with some similarity to darkhitsugaya's because he or she promised his or her friend, or because a person has a tag-board in his blog, we have to assume that the person is mimicking him? Crap - that's what it is. For your information, I got the idea of embedding a tag-board from my flute teacher. His blog? http://choralscene.blogspot.com/ By the way, have you ever heard of the word "improvement?" Please note that it's different from "overcome" and "copy." Please try to consult your dictionary.

Darkhitsugaya also said, "At a broader perspective at the terrible happening last month, tennis is my passion. And I was terribly shocked that a "dog in the manger" was affecting all of our schedules (namely: Kamote, Sellena, and me.) Even though that happened on one day only, we are getting ever-so-crowded in our courts, our passions, etc. We three wanted to be unique! The 'more the merrier' concept does not apply to us. The more secluded, the better."

So, if a person wants to play tennis, he or she cannot do so because that will mean that he or she is copying him. It's just another crap. If he is playing tennis at the same court, does it mean that other people would have to go to another, much more expensive court just to satisfy his insatiable greed?

To this I quote, "We live in a perfectly competitive market wherein buyers compete for the best price."

Darkhitsugaya noted, "Is there such a thing as 'Friends Forever?'"

To this I reply, "It depends on the kind of person whom you are with."

If a person deserves friendship, then yes, there is such a thing; however, if that person is too selfish, who always thinks about his own self, and not care when he steps on other people, then I don't think being friends for eternity is possible.

Darkhitsugaya said in his blog, "What would you do if you got fed up with a person who's with you all the time? Just replace."

He got fed up me even though I sacrificed a quiz's grade to do all his campaign work? He got fed up when all this while I have been nothing but a true friend to him? He got fed up while I stood up for him against the advices of my family? You call yourself a Christian? Think again.

So now I caution you, my treasured friends, be wary and cautious of him, for he can betray you anytime.

It is always better to lose an ingrate friend and gain freedom rather than to keep a worthless friend who stabs you at the back all the time.

It all falls to this one question? Can friendship survive betrayal?

Yes. It takes time and work. The offended person needs to make the choice to forgive - and learn to live with a memory that can't simply be erased. Infidelity is never forgotten, but it can gradually fade into the murky background of a strong, mature friendship.
